The Town of Ramapo, of which Sloatsburg is one of fifteen villages, was
voted as the #2 place to live within the East Coast by
Money Magazine
We are a small community nestled
in the
foothills of the Ramapo Mountains. We are surrounded by several State
Parks which offer hiking, swimming, boating, camping, skiing and a
glimpse into the past. At the end of your day, make sure to stop by one
of our eateries to digest all that you have seen.
What makes us different from many other communities is that we cherish
our country feel and look to preserve the history of our village.
Sloatsburg's local businesses
fulfill all your needs but if you care to venture out, we are centrally
located within a 25 minute drive of all major shopping areas from the
malls on Route 17, the
Palisades Mall in West Nyack, and Woodbury Commons in Harriman NY.

Sloatsburg Municipal Pool
The regular
season will start on
Saturday,
June 2nd – September 7th.
Pool passes
are available in the Village office Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM –
4:00 PM.
